Guest Blogger - Countryfest Concert by Dog Walker

It's been a long time since I got to guest blog for Mom. She asked me to guest blog about what we did today, but she told me to talk about one thing so she can blog about the rest tomorrow. It was a long day.

So tonight we went to a concert at the South Jordan Equestrian Park. It was amazing about the two different country groups that we got to hear from. When we got there, we got to hear this band called County Red, but they aren't very famous yet, but they said that they are planning to make a new album soon. The main singer was named Neal McCoy. He has been one of the most popular country singers for a long time but mostly about 20 years ago.

Anyway, he played a lot of good songs, even songs that have already been played by other celebrities from the past. But the song that he played that I liked the best was the song called "A-OK." I never heard of it before but I think it sounded like an amazing song, especially with some of the whistling in it. If you'd like to hear it, the video is at the bottom of the post.

I had never heard of Neal McCoy before, but the concert was very fun. Sport and Baby Doll were dancing around and they shot some t-shirts into the audience with a t-shirt gun. Even my mom knew lots of the music and she doesn't listen to music so much.

So after Neal McCoy was done performing right when it got dark, the fireworks started. Mom will talk about the actual festival sometime, maybe tomorrow to say about what we have done for the rest of it of the day.

Anyway, the fireworks were amazing, despite about Baby Doll being so scared of the fireworks, just like I was when I was her age. It was the most amazing fireworks that were very close to the Countryfest concert stage. I really liked the finale the best. It was a fun  day.
