Crafty was again set apart last night as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We had 15 close family members at the church as well as our bishop and our stake president.
After spending several hours just being together after the setting apart, Crafty slipped off for a shower and to grab a few hours of sleep. It wasn't quite so easy for me. Her flight to Dallas with a connecting flight to Wichita was scheduled to leave at 8:00 am and that meant we had to leave about 5:45. My sweetie wanted her to have plenty of time on her first solo flight.
We arrived at the airport right on time. A few hugs later, the automatic doors closed behind her and she was gone.
It was easier to let her go than last time, but this mama's heart is still aching.

Hugs! Always so hard to see them go!
Yes, there are always some tears when they leave and tears of joy when they come home. I always loved the setting apart blessings. She looks beautiful and ready to go.
Hugs for this Sister!~
