We have had such a busy week! Crafty leaves early Tuesday morning for the Kansas Wichita Mission and there were so many things we had to do first. We had to buy her a handbag and new towels at Kohls, and toiletries at WalMart. She had all of her apartment things at BYU to wash, pack, and put away.
But besides all of the other things, she wanted to spend time with her siblings and her friends. Princess and The Frog came up Friday and took her to lunch with their family, but other than those living here in our house, she was still trying to spend some time with each of them before she leaves us for a year. So tonight we had most of the kids over for dinner and just to hang out. They played some games and I even got sucked into a game of Uno Dare. It was a fun evening. Crafty will be set apart as a missionary tomorrow night and then we will drive her to the airport on Tuesday morning for an 8:00 am flight. She doesn't have to go to the Mission Training Center because this is a reassignment rather than a new mission. I wish I could say we have everything together, but her suitcases are still half-filled and she has a long list of things that she still has to gather to go in them. I'm guessing we will be rearranging right up until we load them into the car...

Oh, I do remember getting our missionaries ready, and it was usually much like this. I'm happy she had time with her family. I think she will have a great time in her new assignment.
Blessings and hugs for Crafty.
