This past week or so has been huge for Curly!
He has finished his performances as a Russian Dancer in The Nutcracker in spite of the fact that the boys were horsing around today at the matinee performance and he got smacked in the forehead by a door. Not that he was blameless, he was trying to hear what one of the older boys was talking about and was not prepared for the boy's full weight nearly knocking him to the ground from the impact. Remember football? He is usually the one doing the knocking around...
We also had his first Jr. Jazz practice and game, although the game was today at the same time as the matinee performance, so I had to coach his team without him. Can I just say that it was much more stressful not having him there? Thankfully, Teach came along to help me sub the boys and keep things fair. Unfortunately, no one told the other team that we were playing basketball now instead of football. The coach for the other team just happened to be wearing a team hoodie that looked just like Curly's... yeah, it was one of his football coaches...
Last, but not least, Curly earned his Webelos badge and his Arrow of Light in an amazing pack meeting last week. He only joined the Webelos den in August, so this has been a huge feat for him. Now he wants to complete the remaining 9 webelos pins before January so he can earn the 27s patch. That's going to be tricky considering we have very little extra time on our hands.

Wow, Curly has been one busy young man. He has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. I’m sure you are super proud of him.
I don’t know how you throw into your busy schedule coaching too.
Blessings and hugs for you all!
