Tuesday was our last day in Hawaii. We got up early for a final little tour. It was our only actual hike. Did you know that Hawaii has rainforests? One minute we are in the middle of Waikiki and 20 minutes later, it looks like Hawaii 5.0.
We hiked the trail for about 45 minutes, but then we turned back. A rainforest hike is for young people.
After we checked out of the hotel, we picked an easier activity, a visit to Queen Emma's Summer Palace.
It was beautiful! But time to move on. There were a couple of things at Pearl Harbor that we still wanted to see.
We started at the Bowfin Submarine. We were just going to the museum and not down into the submarine...
Didn't happen. We caved. Inside was tiny! My poor sweetie's knees hurt so bad after crawling through those round doors. But the museum was nice...
My phone had just enough juice to get us into the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, so I don't have any pictures, but it was awesome.
Then it was time to return the rental car and make our way to the airport. Our tickets were for the red-eye, so we spent a few hours at the Delta Sky Club. I even convinced the bartender to make me a virgin mai-tai.

Yeah, I was really that tired...
And now we are home. Thanks, Hawaii, for some awesome memories.
