Guest Blog: Time for Field Experience! by the Dog Walker

You may have not heard about this, but I've been attending UVU to major into being a Special Education Elementary teacher. And throughout this semester, I've been attending a lot of classes and have been trying the best I can to remember everything that has been taught and use it during field experience. They call this field, because it gives students the opportunity to go to an elementary school they're assigned to observe teaching methods of the teacher they've been assigned to both observe and help out with. Tomorrow is my first day for field and I'm both excited and nervous at the same time. I hope this works out and that I learn a lot of things out of it. I only have three weeks of observing before going back to the rest of the semester in the courses.
