Graduation Day!

I wanted to update you right after we got home, but I have to admit to being somewhat exhausted. I went upstairs and climbed in my bed and fell asleep until it was time to get ready to go to Sport's baseball game. But let me back up a bit...

Princess graduated from Bingham High School today. She was so beautiful and so calm and totally ready to graduate. After all, she did graduate from SLCC last month, so this was the second time through one of these for her and I couldn't help comparing the two.

Bingham was calm and stoic. They refused to let people bring in airhorns or even clap during some parts. SLCC graduation felt like a party pretty much the entire time, from the opening procession until everyone stormed the floor to hug their graduates.

Bingham forced the kids to all leave via a stairway directly to the tables to give up their gowns. There were not supposed to be any pics taken after the ceremony because they had another group coming in at 1:00 and we had barely finished right before noon.

Not that it was really negative, it was still so fun to see her cross the stage with her classmates. When I think back over the years and all the adventures and hopes and dreams and heartaches, it has been a tremendous journey.

I'm so proud of you, Princess! High school has been a beautiful ride, now it's time to find out what the future holds for you. I'm sure it will be amazing.

I love you.
