After Grandpa spent several days in the hospital, Medicare required him to have a followup visit with his primary care physician. So yesterday morning, when I picked him up for his appointment, I was surprised to find him in the great room watching tv with a bunch of the other residents. He walked to the car and into the doctor's office without his walker and we sang along with Johnny Cash on the trip to Riverton.
The doc said Grandpa looked great for a man coming back from the dead!
After the doc, we drove to the Arctic Circle in West Jordan. Grandpa definitely remembers some things, like his favorite place for a twist cone!
Then we were off to the carwash.
It's so great to finally have him back!!
