Field Trip to Zion's Bank

We took the Girl Scout troop on a field trip today to visit Zion's Bank. We were missing a couple of girls, including Crafty, who was decorating for the Sweethearts' Dance tomorrow, but we piled into the big van anyway.

The bank manager met us at the door and we moved into a conference room for a little talk about credit and how we can use it to our advantage. The girls listened well and were engaged in the conversation. After watching a short video from Mary Poppins, we went on a tour. My favorite part was the chance to go into the vault. The girls were pretty impressed with the solid, thick door and the many locks.

As we were leaving, each girl was given a sucker. We had a great time! Thanks, Zion's!
