Making Crustos

Such a busy day!

It was Cinco de Mayo, but instead of our usual celebrations we kept it pretty low key. We shared our simple tacos with a couple of neighbor families and then after volleyball, Princess and her boyfriend made crustos (that's what we called them when I worked at Taco Time as a kid). Basically they are tortillas cut and fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

With the Mayor
Remember a month or so ago when Princess won the Water Conservancy Scholarship? Tonight they presented it to her at the City Council meeting. I was so proud of her! She is an amazing person. Sport came with me to watch the presentation so he could see a city council meeting for the Citizenship in the Community merit badge.

Tomorrow promises to be another hectic day. Crafty is in her school play and we also have 2 baseball games. Scout has softball practice and there is always dance. I have a tooth the dentist will be fixing in the afternoon and the Dog Walker is taking his Math 1050 final.

If you have influence with the powers of Heaven, please pray for him. He is so worried about this test and even though he has worked hard all semester, he has to earn a 60% to pass the class.

I'll let you know how that works out.

You live such a busy life; I do hope you get a nap once in a while. I think Dog Walker will do great; he is such a awesome kid.
You should be so proud of Princess that is an accomplishment.
Hugs!
