You know the worst part about coming home from vacation besides the huge pile of dirty laundry? It's that overly large stack of paperwork that has accumulated.
I've gotten through about half of mine. I guess I should have stopped my newspaper, because I had 2 weeks full of unread papers, 2 weeks of unanswered emails, and piles of bills and junk mail. I sat down to it half a dozen times and just couldn't face it. Then finally I got myself moving.
The other bad part about vacation is stepping on the scale. We won't even talk about that. Let's just say I need to get back to Curves and try a lot harder.
Sport heard from his football coach last night. He was happy to learn that he had been drafted by the same team he played with last year. We were worried about that since he and Curly missed the entire week of tryouts because we were in Texas. We still don't know which team Curly will be on, but since it is his first year, it probably doesn't matter that much.
I just can't seem to get my head around real life, although maybe that is why we go on vacations with our kids, so we can remember what is really important. It can't possibly be this pile of paperwork.

welcome home
I think the BEST thing about coming home is my own bed. Sounds like you had a great trip!
