Piling Up

The Dog Walker has been taking care of most of the laundry for a couple of months now. It has been an easy way for him to off-load some of my tasks. For the most part, he does a pretty good job, although occasionally I find a ball of gum or a random piece of wadded paper (hopefully none of them were important...)

On Wednesday morning, after all the craziness of the wedding, the Dog Walker tried to run a batch for me, but he kept getting an nF error on the washer. I tried everything. I cleaned out the filter, power-cycled it, pulled half the clothes out and ran it on a lower cycle, but nothing worked.

Then he came in to inform me that water was all over the top of the washer. "Niagara Falls!" as he described it. Well, it wasn't quite that bad, but there was definitely a large pool of water that could no longer be ignored. It was time to call in the big guns.

I  told my sweetie...

A few hours later he had isolated and repaired the leaky faucet and all is running again. Unfortunately, those several down days have left me with this lovely stack (and I use that word loosely) of laundry and a fan that is still trying to dry out my carpet.

It must be Monday.

I have 2 washers and 2 dryers, but only one dryer is hooked up right now. I need the electrician to add a sub panel for the laundry room, as we do not have enough room in the breaker box for another 30 amp breaker.

I love doing laundry if I lived anywhere in Utah I would take a friend and we could do your laundry in no time, honestly I would do it..It doesn't bother me at all, I help out an elderly lady and my hubs takes me to her home and I pet the kitty cat, put her laundry away do litter patrol feed and love on the kitty cat and listen to the lady. I make her favorite foods before I go and she is delighted she has outlived most in all of my 66 years of living, I have no grandmother, mother and my aunt lives almost 2000 miles from me..She is my granny for all pratical purposes and loves me and my hubs and my only child too. She outlived her husband by many years and loves to garden to boot..Laundry is a breeze in my book, with the new pod detergents and I only put the stuff in the dryer and shake it out and let it dry on 4 rackes in my garage and we are good to go only my hubs and me..I would gladly do it for you and your family I truly would!

Oh my gosh, I can relate to this one. A few years ago I put a load in and there was a huge flood that required a lot of repair work.
Your laundry load looks like mine. We had family for 5 days and I was left with a huge pile towels and sheets. I am just barely catching up now; and my own regular laundry is now huge.
Blessings as you get this done!
