The Honeymoon

Have I told you about my lovely new daughter-in-law? She is just perfect for our family! She is frugal and sensible, kind and sweet. She loves the big family atmosphere even though she was an only child. I love that she is careful with money.

Get this. When they were trying to decide where to go for their honeymoon, Beauty really wanted to go out of state, not far, just somewhere a little different. But when they looked at hotel rooms over the New Year's holiday, the prices were "ridiculous!" If they waited for a few days, then everything was much cheaper.

So they spent their first 6 days of married life in their very own home and then they left for Jackson Hole this morning. My awesome DIL texted me that they were safe and well when they finally arrived and that it wasn't nearly as cold as they had feared.

Like any curious parent, I asked her for a picture and they sent me these first two that I just had to share with you...with permission, of course.

When I asked if they had any more, they obliged and sent me the last two. I've never seen my son so completely happy! Thank you, Beauty, for coming into his life and making it whole. He is finally the man he was always meant to be.
