A Quick Little Trip

We have been working on cleaning out Grandpa's room all week. We put a bunch of his things at the care center, but 8 large boxes and 4 small pieces of furniture needed to go to his hous for storage. Today was the perfect day since my 3 youngest boys could come and carry everything.

Sport had not seen any of the remodel. so we had to give him the tour.

After we left the house, we drove around town a little. We even took pics of the new temple.

Then we drove to Mt Pleasant for lunch at the Dairy Freeze.

It was a good day.

MLK Day

The kids and my sweetie all had the day off, so we made plans to have a fun day together. We started out at the Planetarium. It was pretty crazy! We saw two movies, ate popcorn, and spent more money in the gift shop.

We grabbed Little Caesar's pizza on our way to the Maverik Center. We were pretty excited to watch a bit of hockey on our fun day.

We left a little early and we played bord games until dinner. We had so much fun and we hope you enjoyed the holiday too.

A Little Getaway

Last spring I bought a gift certificate for my sweetie from the Bingham Bands fundraiser. It was an overnight stay at our local Embassy Suites. He was excited to have a little getaway, but we haven't been able to make it happen until this weekend.

The room was really nice, so we settled in and put our feet up.

The room had a little kitchen area and since it was Sunday, my sweetie decided to cook for us.

It wasn't perfect (when my sweetie opened the bottle of sparkling cider, it sprayed all over the room!!), but it was pretty close.

We soaked in the hot tub, watched TV, talked and laughed. I should have taken more pics, I guess, but I was too busy enjoying the moment.
