Calling Elder Curly

This week has been fast and busy and I have seen the Lord's hand a ton! There is so much I can't begin to list everything so I am going to try the highlights and lowlights method this week.

Highs

๐Ÿ‘ Brother Hoffman's "beanless chilli" and hearing half of his life story including every car crash he has ever been in.

๐Ÿ‘Our very spirit-filled lesson with our friend Rick who only needs to stop drinking and then he is going to be baptized! We also gave him a blessing and the spirit was so strong!

๐Ÿ‘Elder Taylor telling us all of the super niche Bible stories as well as some super deep complex doctrine. He is a dawg!

๐Ÿ‘Elder Peck being a great comedic relief with his out of pocket sayings coming from the back seat.

๐Ÿ‘The Hitzemans bean-full chilli and their company.

๐Ÿ‘The Wendy's, Chipotle and Canes that we demolished throughout the week.

๐Ÿ‘The cows mooing soooo loud last night cause they were called. There is a video on the Google photos.

MVP: The Allens. They are dawgs in helping us out with missionary work. Too bad they are moving in January ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Lows

๐Ÿ‘Ž Church being canceled for the second week in a row because of the carpet. Don't worry we went to a different building, but it meant some of our friends couldn't come.

๐Ÿ‘Ž The Eyers getting Scabbies so we couldn't meet with them and we had to push their baptism dates back.

๐Ÿ‘ŽIt being cold already, as well as the rainy days.

LVP: The SHEETZ chili dogs. Never again.

Spirtual thought:

This week I studied a lot about hope. The key takeaway I have is that hope is not only being happy or positive about the future but it instead is having trust in God that everything he has promised will happen!

This is an awesome conference talk about it. Go read or listen to it this week! https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2008/10/the-infinite-power-of-hope?lang=eng
