For quite a while, Mom had been looking forward to hearing me read a lot of the Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites series that she and Dad always enjoyed reading together. We used to have a whole collection of them, but for some reason, most of them had disappeared out of the household. For most times, I've been requesting a couple of copies from the local library and after finishing them, I would return them. So, I went onto the Thrift Book website and ordered them for a very good deal. Most of the copies on the website cost 5 dollars each, while the ones from Amazon cost like 10 or 20 dollars, I just thought of the Thrift Books approach just so that Mom could have almost the entire series again. I thought I bought the entire series at once, when I realized that book seven was missing and I instead ordered Cheaper By the Dozen, which is also a book that Mom likes! Maybe after reading the entire Tennis Shoes series, I'll start reading that book to her.
