Mom seems to have an interest of asking me to guest blog for her, probably because she's either busy with some other things, like helping with scrapbooking or she just temporarily has writer's block. Since this is the beginning of 2025, I guess I should be the first to tell about my new year's resolutions. Some of them is to safe enough money for a new car, and to write a fifth volume of Samy Kind and get it published. And that's one other big resolution that I have that I'm about to tell you.
That resolution has been started before the new year even started. Ever since I wrote my first Samy Kind books and got them published, I've just been hoping for a lot of kids and possibly interested readers out there who would like to read them and write their reviews about them.
But after hearing some advice from them, I felt like I was totally ripped off and that I'm still a naïve man-child I told them that I wanted to share my creative books to not only immediate family or extended family, but also to other families and school teachers who have an interest in reading new books. I tried using my own YouTube channel, and Facebook account to show my works, but it's not that easy to try to get people's attention on such an underdog advertisement.

Mom told me that Drama Queen majored in college for a website-making career and suggested to have her make one for free for me. I was reluctant about it at first, but then after hearing about Drama Queen being in between jobs, I realized that letting her make my Samy Kind website would be a good start for her career path.
So I was able to let her do it, and let her take all the time she needed, especially taking it easy around the holidays and best to let my website be ready after the first of the year. Mom was able to call the company that I did a ripoff interview with to cancel the contract and that I was able to not have to be charged anymore by them.
Drama Queen is doing well so far. Recently, she showed me her working progress of how my future website was going along. She asked for an extra email address that could be used for it and for a verification code to let it pass through.
She said that she'll be able to get it done as soon as possible and that it would be ready sometime. I don't know exactly when, but I think she said it might be ready by February. I'm really looking forward to it. Despite having adult-independence-blues, I'm just glad that I have loving family who would help me out on a lot of things and to know that I can still be an independent adult, it just doesn't hurt to have a little bit of help from people who have a lot more experience. I hope you're looking forward to see the website when it's ready and published.
