Guest Blog: Super Bowl Party 2024 by the Dog Walker

 Can you believe that the Super Bowl has come again?! A year sure goes by quickly while you're an adult.  Last year was kind of the same thing, except, I made sure that people were invited. Mom and Dad are gone on another out-of-state trip, but also on another cruise. They didn't watch the Super Bowl with us, but they watched it at a hotel that they're spending the night at before their cruise. The people that came over were Beauty and the Beast, along with Little Warrior and Little Squire. They're also came Scout's BF, Curly's GF, Sport, Crafty, Bossy, Gamer, and their boys. Princess and the Frog never came over, because I was told that they prefer BYU football.

The party was a blast! Everyone thought I did a good job making lots of pizzas from the freezer and Papa Murphy's. I even cooked up marinara sauce and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. Some of the siblings even brought their own treats like Velveta dip and chips. I had plenty of cans of diet soda in the coolers along with some water bottles. I made dessert pizzas, like s'mores pizza and a unique one called Pina Colada pizza.

We had plenty of places to be at the party, some of the people watched the football game on the big screen, while others played board games and bracelet crafts in the other room. Some of the little kids even played outside in the backyard. Most of everyone was rooting for Kansas City while Burrito was rooting for San Francisco. Everyone enjoyed the half-time show with Usher performing, but they were mostly excited to see Taylor Swift watching the game from the audience. 

Each team was totally competitive in this game that it went into overtime for another 15 minutes. At first the 49ers were winning, but during the last minute in overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. Burrito was totally bummed, but he still had fun. It sure was the longest Super Bowl party ever, but it really was fun. Did you have a good Super Bowl weekend?
