Happy Pioneer Day!

Dog Walker offered to be in charge of our Pioneer Day celebration and he did a fantastic job! We started this morning by going to see the movie, Go West. It was a parody by the original Studio C cast.

We stopped at Sam's on the way home for a few things and a hot dog lunch. Then we made dinner for the family.

My sweetie roasted a turkey and we had several racks of ribs. My sweetie taught Curly to make scalloped potatoes and the Dog Walker made biscuits, jello, and homemade pie.

Bossy's family and The Beast and his boys joined us for dinner and afterward we played a ginormous game of Blank Slate until it was time to do fireworks.

We fought a little with the rain, but we got our fire works off without a hitch.

Elder Sport joined us via messenger. Can you believe he will be home in 3 short months?
