Synchronized Swimming

I kept my girl scouts guessing when all I put on our schedule for Friday was the word "Water." Most of them didn't realize that there is actually a badge that is called Water. I don't think they thought it would be so fun either.

I've told you before about my amazing neighbors who are so willing to share their pool. So we met there at 2:00 so the girls could swim and play before we began our badge work which honestly, the two things on the list were not that hard.

One of them was playing Marco Polo, a silly game where someone closes their eyes and shouts Marco while everyone answers Polo and the one in the middle tries to tag someone. It's one of our standard water games, so it wasn't anything special.

But the girls were a bit surprised when Bossy arranged them into a synchronized swimming group. It's times like these when it is so fun to have both big girls and little girls in our troop! Together they came up with a 45-second routine that included everyone.

Except for Crafty. She didn't want to get her hair wet right before dance.... hmmmm....
