Then the girls made cute cards and plates of cookies for 6 veterans from each of our neighborhoods and they delivered them. (I was just going to take a picture of the one they gave to Grandpa, but it appears that he has taken it down to his room so he doesn't have to share... smart guy!)

Remember our project with the cub scouts yesterday? The girls made a valiant effort at finishing up the pompoms. I'm sure it will take at least a couple more hours before our count totals 250.
We are celebrating on Sunday officially, but today is also The Frog's 27th birthday. Taco and Sport rode the Frontrunner down to Utah County so they could go with Princess and The Frog to the BYU football game tomorrow. My sweetie and I will be going the other direction for Baby Doll's opening night of 6 Characters in Search of an Author. The first performance was tonight for Prima Donna, but you probably remember that Baby Doll is double-cast. I'll be sure and get you some pictures.

What a wonderful idea for the girls to show love and a tribute to Veterans by giving them a treat. Our Grandson went back with his band from Spokane, Wa. To march in the Veterans Day Parade. He is the drum major, so it was a big thing. I wish that our whole country could have watched it. Our veterans deserve recognition as to all of our arm forces.
Hugs for this one!
