Scout had her first softball practice tonight. The weather was so beautiful that she didn't even wear a jacket although by the time it was almost 8:00, I think she was starting to regret that decision.They spent most of their time working on throwing and fielding. Scout is a little rusty. Although she has been in the yard with the kids playing catch, she is clearly out of practice.
I know I seem to have forgotten how it feels to wait in the car for an hour and a half while she gets to enjoy playing ball. Their games don't officially start until April 7, so we have a little time to get both of us ready for the season.
But once spring sports start, there is no way of denying that spring is practically here.Everything is turning green just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Hope you remembered! I sure don't want to get pinched.
