Spring Break - Day 7, Traveling Home

Sunday was a quiet day. I got moving around 9:00 and we headed down to breakfast. We had to check out by 11 and there was still a bunch of packing to do. It wasn't long before we were on the road.

I forgot to show you the team photo yesterday.

It was nice to listen to General Conference on the radio with the fam instead of in my ear during the tournament.

We got home just in time to hear the prophet speak with Dog Walker and Grandpa.

Just perfect.
The entire week.

Spring Break - Day 6, Traveling Together

Saturday was almost all about volleyball.

By 11:00am, Baby Doll's team had locked in the 4th spot for the Silver Division. They were hungry and they were ready for lunch on us.

Yeah. That's how it works. Once a season, each family has to pay for lunch for the entire team and the coaches. Chick-fil-A was not the cheapest option, but it was the easiest.

The girls eventually took 2nd place in their division!

Back at the hotel, we hung out with Princess and the Frog and their kids. They invited us to dinner at Applebee's. By the time we got our food, the kids were SO hungry!

After dinner, Princess put the kids to bed and we played Jackbox.

This has been such a fun week, but honestly, I'm sort of glad we are going home in the morning. I am tired...

Spring Break - Day 5, Traveling Together

Today was the first day of Baby Doll's volleyball tournament, but they didn’t have to be there until 3:30, so she took off with her friends to go karting. (Sorry, she didn't take any pics.)

My sweetie had some work that had to be done, so once again, we pulled out our Get Out Pass to find something to do.

Scout had always wanted to go to a shooting, so Rowdy's Range looked perfect.

Curly had been to a range before with friends, and I grew up around shotguns and rifles, but Scout had never really handled anything except a BB gun.

We had a great teacher (pretty sure he was the owner himself) and it wasn't long before we were all hitting our targets.

Between the 3 of us, we went through 150 rounds.

I'm grateful they suggested we fired a Glock that used 22-caliber shells. It was only $15 for all that ammo + $10 to rent the gun. Range fees were all swallowed up by our Get Out Pass.

After we left the range, we grabbed lunch at Carl's Jr. Thank goodness for coupons!!

Back at the hotel, Baby Doll's coaches had decorated her door.

It was finally time for some volleyball!!

No answers until tomorrow. A short game of Blank Slate, a little TV, a late supper, and some sleep. Saturday will be a big day.
