You got it, Curly!!
I sure don't understand today's lingo... good thing she put YES at the end.
It was my sweetie's birthday today. We started the day with a "peach run" to Orem and a quick stop at my SIL's house. It is sad to see what the recent hailstorm did to the peaches.
After that, I had a doctor's appointment and when it was over, I stopped by Warrens and got my sweetie a chocolate marshmallow shake.
At 4:30, we finally took a lunch break and we drove to Cafe Rio. I had a free entree, so we got a sweet pork burrito to share.
I went with Scout to present her app to another Young Women's group and not long after we got home, Baby Doll came in with a cake she had decorated at Young Women's. She put in one candle and Kate lit it up so we could sing.
Then we drove out to Texas Roadhouse for a late dinner. Dog Walker managed his break so he could join us. It was so much fun!!
My sweetie refused to sit on the saddle or have them sing, but he did take the ice cream sundae they offered.
Happy birthday, Sweetie!
And many more.❤
I know it's barely recent that I have guest blogged for Mom, but she asked me to write about a little get together that she and Dad couldn't get to. Bossy invited us for a little get together for last day of summer s'mores. Baby Doll and I were the first ones there, because we saw that it was at 7:30 on the invitation and we weren't informed that it had been moved to 8:30. So we hung around anyway and waited for Sport and Curly to come from Disc Golfing. The evening air really was starting to cool a bit, as a sign of showing that we are getting close to autumn again. Having s'mores was quite a treat. We can hardly wait to have some more autumn leaves.
Grandpa's care facility had a big Luau yesterday and he was allowed to bring two guests, so Baby Doll and I were selected.
We had dinner and treats. It was so much fun!!
Now it really has been a while since Mom asked me to guest blog for her. I wasn't quite sure what to say here, but then I remember that ever since I got the second Samy Kind book written and published for Valentine's Day, it got me thinking of writing another book that I want to give to the family for Christmas. I'm quite excited to present this one to you, but I would have to wait until Mom does the editing before it can be up for sale on Amazon and Kindle. This is the front cover of my fourth Samy Kind book for the series.
