Christmas Day 2025

We had a beautiful Christmas Day. We got to sleep in because my kids are all a little older now and I appreciated that very much. There were many fun gifts! Scout and Baby Doll were super excited about the season tickets to The Ruth. Sport mostly got small packages because his real gift was the title to the Suzi and all the stuff he needs to fix it.

Curly and the Dog Walker got clothes because that's all they ever really want. The girls got a fair amount of things like that as well.

I took a nice nap after presents and then started making dinner. The kids were coming over, so that was exciting in and of itself. Crafty offered to cook the Prime Rib and Princess made the rolls, so that made my part of dinner easy. Dog Walker helped me make the baked potatoes, Curly made the salad, Scout made the fruit tray and Baby Doll did the fruit dip. 

Oh how I love that most of my kids were here!! Bossy and Gamer brought their little ones, including their brand new baby. She doesn't have a blog name yet, but she was born on Dec 22, so she was very new and so cute!

We had Beauty and The Beast, and their boys, Princess and The Frog and their kiddos, Crafty and Craftsman, and all the ones that typically stay pretty close to the house. 

We had a video call with Drama Queen and Teach and all of her cuties. They sent me the cutest pic!

It was a great time. Food and games, smiles and laughter.

Missing my sweetie every day, but knowing that he had an important work to do makes it a little easier.
