General Conference Weekend - part 2

So while the kids were off to the Conference Center, we got all the food and tables and stuff ready for the April Family Birthday party.

Bossy and Gamer's youngest was turning 2.

After everyone filled their bellies, we headed for the backyard. Scout and her best friend, K, had prepared a Paw Patrol pinata and the kids were anxious to give it a try.

One of the kids hit the pinata away from the head, so Bossy took matters into her own hands. Literally!

She turned it into a homerun derby. She pitched the body full of candy to the next kid in line and she let them each take a swing until all the candy was spilled and gathered.

Then we laughed and talked until it was too cold.

Finally, it was time to say goodbye.
