Traveling as Two - Leaving Port Canaveral

Our biggest reason for traveling to Florida is because we received a free cruise when we signed up for our travel plan. I have never had a huge desire to cruise since I am prone to motion sickness, but this was such a good opportunity, it was hard to say no.

 

Cruising is totally different from our regular mode of travel. Just the boarding process was crazy! When we were finally on the boat, we made our way to the Lido deck for lunch. It was hard to find a table and even harder to decide what to eat, but eventually we did both. 

Finally our stateroom ready. We got unpacked and waited there for the ship to sail.

The water was so beautiful and Port Canaveral is a busy, bustling harbor.

Soon we were in open water and we decided to explore the ship. In the little theater we watch part of a movie, but the sea was so choppy, we couldn't concentrate.

We decided not to dress for dinner, so we just grabbed something on the Lido Deck. So far, none of the food has been spectacular, but it is good.

Now we are in our room watching a movie. Everyone we talked to said the waters should be more calm tomorrow. I sure hope so. Even my sweetie is struggling.
