Sunday in the Park

It was a warm, beautiful day on the Wasatch Front. My sweetie had us all pack up so that we could launch the rocket at the park. The kids were so excited! We packed up jackets and blankets and chairs. We even grabbed a snack in case we got hungry. Then we piled into the cars.

When we got to the park, we started setting everything up. That's when Curly discovered that we had forgotten to grab the rocket launcher...

Thankfully, the kids had plenty of other things to keep them busy.
Grandpa played with the big remote-controlled truck.
He ran it all over until the battery was out.
Then Curly and I played catch with Baby Doll until Grandpa wanted to play so I handed him my glove.
I love days like this.

Review: American Underdog

Just before Christmas, I was asked to do a review for a new movie called American Underdog. It is the true story of NFL quarterback, Kurt Warner, and it is one of those feel-good sports stories that I can't resist.
Sadly, I HAD to resist, because the day of the advanced screening was the same day we already had tickets for the Forgotten Carols. So even though I had to turn down the free passes, this was a movie I put on my must-see list.

Tonight my sweetie that suggested we go on a date, so after some pretty decent Mexican food, we made our way to the theater.
The movie was amazing and every bit as good as I knew it would be. Don't miss American Underdog. Every kid should have a dream. Sometimes they come true.

Cupcake Club

I know I have told you about Cupcake Club before, but I wanted to tell you that in spite of all the COVID drama, the Club is alive and well at Bingham. Scout is the President (she wouldn't let me take her pic).
Taco is the vice president.
They meet every month to learn new skills. This time they learned to use melting discs to form snowflakes.
We all had SO much fun!!
