Volleyball and More Volleyball

Yesterday was all about baseball, and today was all volleyball. Baby Doll had her final tournament today and she had to be in Spanish Fork by 7:30 AM for her first set.

Her team played well. In pool play, they only lost one of the 6 games they played, placing their team at the top of the Gold bracket.

They had never been seeded so high before and the 12U girls they were scheduled to play in the semifinals seemed unbeatable for their little 11U team. But they rallied and hit like crazy and when the dust settled, they were headed for the championship game

We were scheduled to play this red team; the team we split games with first thing this morning.

We waited while they beat Team 801 in 3 games, then we took the court.

Baby Doll played her heart out, but their time sitting slowed them down some and although the game was close (Baby Doll served 12 straight points!), they couldn’t pull it off, but we were very proud of the silver.
