Cookies with Santa

It has become a bit of a tradition for Bossy and I to take whatever kiddos we can round up to Cookies and Cocoa with Santa. My friend, Dalesse, and her group at Keller Williams in South Jordan, sponsor this event every year.

First, they do pics with Santa for free (we don't have them back yet or I would show you). Baby Doll and I went first, then Bossy and her fam joined us and then they did their own pic. After that, it was time to choose a frosted sugar cookies and grab a cup of cocoa. I missed all the cutsie pics, but I did snap these for you.

More about Monday tomorrow.

Wordless Wednesday - WICKED Car Wash

I feel like this needs an explanation. Sorry for breaking the rules. So I sent the first pic to Scout with the message, "Nice day for a carwash."

This was my passive/aggressive way of convincing her to wash Grandpa's car since she has been driving it while her jeep is in the shop.

She sent me the 2nd pic. #Wicked immediately sprung to mind. I'm pretty sure the color choices were happy accidents.

Enjoy your Wednesday!!

Trip to Sanpete

Yesterday, my sweetie and I took a trip south. We haven’t been down there much since his mom passed, but my SILs wanted to do a tree for the Festival of Trees in her honor. I will send you a pic after they set it up tomorrow, but I can show you a few pieces. Here is the tree skirt I made.

I also made a blanket and pillow to match. Bossy made this amazing Nativity.

Isn't that awesome!! I almost thought about forgetting to drop it off, but I figured Bossy would eventually notice, right?

We drove all the way to Ephraim to leave a box at Dad's house, so we decided to loop around the new Ephraim Temple and check on the progress.

I am so excited to see how it turns out!

Making Noodles

Today was full of fun and laughter and video games. The kids even talked me into playing one game and that's saying something!

We cooked down the turkey from Thanksgiving and prepared the broth to make soup. My sweetie was planning to make the noodles when Sport jumped in and asked for a lesson on noodle-making. Not to be outdone, Curly joined the party and together they rolled out four batches of egg noodles.

The soup was perfect!

After that, Curly, Baby Doll and I invested a couple of hours at the Oquirrh Temple doing baptisms. We had an appointment, but it was SO busy! I guess everyone wanted to serve.

It was a great day!
