We got up and checked out of our last hotel room, it was nearly time to go home. Except that our flight wasn't until evening and we needed to find something to do. I had seen advertisements online for the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. It was part of the Smithsonian Institute, and it sounded like something my sweetie would enjoy. It was right near the airport and close to the Air Force Base, so that was good. We saw some fighter jets doing maneuvers from the base and my sweetie discovered another site of his company that he didn't know existed.
But I digress...
We parked a ways from the door of TASM so we could get some steps. They had an American airplane out front that was open for touring, but we ended up leaving before we had the chance. Here's some pics for you and I was right, my sweetie loved it.
We left the museum, gased up the rental car and headed for the Tulsa airport.
It was time to go home.
