Traveling Together - Ocean City

On Saturday, my youngest granddaughter, Twizzle, was not feeling well, so Teach had to take her to the instacare. We changed our plans and decided to take everyone else to the beach. Princess's kids had never been on the beach and Baby Doll loves the water. So it was the perfect answer.

It took us about an hour to get there (after we stopped at Target for sand supplies). The water was cold but irresistible. We searched for shells and made a sand castle.

Then we bought fries and funnel cakes at a little shop on the dock. We also bought tshirts for the kids and hoodies for Baby Doll and Dog Walker.

Traveling Together - New Jersey

We had so much fun converging on Teach and Twiz's house!

They made us a yummy dinner of walking tacos. And they all chased down the ice cream truck.

We all tried the massage chair.

I didn't love it.

More adventures to come.

Traveling Together - Philadelphia

So we climbed on an airplane on Thursday morning; me, my sweetie, Baby Doll, and Dog Walker. Destination - Philadelphia. 

Somewhere, on a different airline, Princess and The Frog and their three littles were also flying into Philly.

We are all converging for Twizlet's baptism this weekend.

We drove across the Walt Whitman bridge into New Jersey.

We dropped by Teach and Twiz's house since Baby Doll was planning to stay with them in Drama Queen's room.

We spent the rest of the evening in our hotel room.

State FCCLA

For the last two days, Curly was at State FCCLA. He won a gold medal with his STAR event and he was the only person from his high school to qualify for Nationals!!

Guest Blog: Utah Hockey Game by The Dog Walker

Mom asked me to write a post for her, because she's feeling a bit tired from a lot of things going on lately. Besides scrapbooking and taking care of some paperwork. She wanted me to blog about the hockey game that we attended. All my life, the Utah hockey team was usually the Grizzlies, but this time the game was at the Delta Center where the Utah Jazz basketball team usually plays. Mom told me that it was a cheaper deal than the Grizzlies games that we've been to, so we gave it a try, besides, this is the first year for the Utah Hockey Club. The Grizzlies are semi-pro and this new team is a real professional club!

We left with Skittles, Taco, Baby Doll, Curly, and Scout. It was quite crowded with a lot of people going to the hockey game. It seemed like the Utah Hockey team has much longer games than the Grizzlies team ever did, but they were the same. It was just like attending the Utah Jazz basketball game.

We were enjoying some of the game along with two half-time shows in between three periods. We had to leave the game a few minutes early because Scout had to get back to Provo for an early morning work shift and it was one way to avoid going through heavy traffic after the game was over. The hockey game was fun to watch, and we're looking forward to other sports events, like the Utah Jazz basketball game and even the Bees baseball game.

Burrito's Eagle Court of Honor

We had a great time honoring and roasting Burrito tonight at his final and Eagle Court of Honor.

Curly did a great job as the master of ceremonies.

The video made by the Drama Queen was so fun! Except for maybe the last song...
