Christmas with Princess and the Frog

We had such a fun evening. It started with a stop at the DMV...

...where Scout FINALLY got her license! She turned 16 exactly one month ago, but Bingham has been running behind and it took this long for the teachers to get her out on the road. She did great on her test this afternoon and we were able to get her right in at the DMV.

From there we drove nearly an hour to Princess and the Frog's house. They had invited us for dinner and to share gifts. My sweetie even dressed up as Santa.

He does such a great job!

Dance Recital 2021

I totally forgot to share pics from the Christmas Performance last week. Baby Doll is such a beautiful dancer.

This is her tap class; she is in the middle.

Here she is with the jazz team. 

So pretty! It will be hard to pull her from most of her dance classes for volleyball, but that is what she wants to do, for this season anyway.

Life is full of difficult choices.

Forgotten Carols

The Forgotten Carols have been a wonderful part of our family traditions. 

I can't believe this 30th year is supposed to be their last.

Michael McClean is an amazing performer and writer, but his health isn't good.

Sorry, I can't share pics of the actual show. This was a tribute to light... everyone just waves their phones now instead of lighters like in the old days.

We will miss this show!!

Love My Family

No family party last year made this one twice as sweet.

I will be SO glad when we are finally back to normal... no masks, no distancing, just family togetherness.
