In the last 30 days, my entire life has been turned upside down. My sweetie went to the ER for a cough and we came home with Stage 4 Bile Duct cancer. Like me, if you don't know what this is, Dr Google will destroy almost all hope. Fortunately, we have a forever marriage that transcends all earthly heartache and pain. There is no cure. We pray for remission and humbly ask you to join us. Please love and support our children as we all travel this rocky path.

I am one of your readers from Mumbai, India. Very sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis, cholangial carcinoma . I wanted to let you know that about 9 months ago, my husband , almost 80, was similarly suddenly diagnosed with the same. You know the prognosis from Google and your doc. I want to tell you that chemotherapy with Gemcitabin, Cisplatin and immunotherapy with Durwalumab, has wonders in allowing him to improve his quality of life. (Google will show you the paper published regarding tests done with it across countries. And their conclusions). My husband, who played badminton three times a week for years,, suddenly lost strength, appetite etc. He started losing weight. We were advised the chemotherapy and immunotherapy (3 sessions), and his quality of life his magically improved. Our 2 yr old grandson would ask him to be lifted up, and my husband would feel bad that he had no strength to do that. Post the chemo, and immunotherapy, he has improved his weight, appetite, is able to enjoy his twin grandkids and lift them. He takes a moderate walk everyday, goes to the market sometimes.
I thought I should let you know this, in case your doctor can be asked about it. I wish your husband improved health and quality of life. I pray that he is able to enjoy his regular activities with his family soon. Please do not lose heart. Best wishes to you and your wonderful family.
