I know you think we party all the time around here. You are probably right, but today was pretty easy. You know what Baby Doll wanted for her birthday dinner? Frozen Pizza!!
It seemed sort of ridiculous to cook pizza like that for about 30 people, but we did it. We added in some salads and cheesy garlic bread, but it was way easier than what we did for Crafty last week. And it's a good thing because last night Drama Queen asked me if my sweetie and I would sub for her in the nursery today. I have been doing that for a while anyway, so of course I agreed. It's a cakey job with usually 3 or 4 little ones.
Today we had seven! And one of them was a screamer. For nearly two solid hours...
By the time we got home from church, we were both ready for a long nap. That turned into a Broncos game and me wrapping gifts for Baby Doll, but at least no one was screaming. Well, Curly did get pretty upset when the Broncos lost to the Falcons...
But I digress...
Let me show you more fun pics of my Baby Doll. She had a super fun party and she actually blew out the candles before we were even finished with the Happy Birthday song! She loved all of her gifts and was spoiled rotten by her brothers and sisters, grandpa and daddy.
Seven Nursery kids! Wow! In our ward, we call that Saturday!

WOW! Your birthday parties are the best! I wish I could sneak into one of your family parties sometime! And nursery is great! We have 25 kids in our nursery (well, 11 in one nursery, 14 in the other), and 2 more kids entering nursery before the year ends, then we'll have 13 kids leave for sunbeams (including Emma!).
ReplyDeleteOh, that Baby Doll is a cute one. You do have a lot of Birthday adventures. Happy that the meal was easy for you; you need easy once in a while. Sorry you had to have a crying little one for 2 hours in the nursery. I have been there before. Blessings and hugs~
