Guest Blog: Movie Party with Beauty and The Beast by the Dog Walker

Ever since the family campout, I was showing the family a lot of movie options to pick from for our little movie in the park. The Beast chose Muppets From Space, but when we tried to play it, the DVD player wouldn't read it, so we watched Moana instead.

Since The Beast was a little sad that we didn't get to watch it at the campout, Mom and I were discussing about what can be done. We wanted to have a little movie party with Beauty and The Beast and their boys. We were going to do it here at the house, but then The Beast offered to invite us to their new house that they moved into a month ago. The Beast wanted to show off his new projector room.

So Mom agreed to bring some dinner over, which was sweet pork. She also made her newest homemade refried beans that The Beast surprisingly liked, just because he didn't like canned refried beans. I don't know if Mom ever told you about the Homemade Refried Beans, but maybe some time, she will explain how it's done.

Anyway, after dinner, we watched Muppets From Space, and Mom didn't quite remember watching it with us as kids. Some of the younger kids were really thought it was fun to watch, especially all those funny moments with movie references in them. Curly, in particular, wasn't quite familiar with other Muppet movies, except for the Christmas Carol version, because Mom always watches it every Christmas.

According to Muppets From Space, Mom was even surprised about the Independence Day reference in the movie. If Dad were still alive, and he watched it with us, he would've thought that reference was funny too.

It was a really fun movie party. The Beast thought of doing another Muppet movie soon, with the adaptation of Treasure Island. I think the kids might be looking forward to watching it later on, but I'm not sure about everyone. Then again, we'll just see how it turns out. We might be getting a lot of new Muppet fans in the family.
