Today was perfect. Except that the dishwasher is broken. We bagged up the chili for the freezer and stored 7 gallon bags away for the winter.
I peeled and sliced the rest of the lemon elbertas and processed 6 quarts. I don't really like canning peaches on Sunday, but these couldn't wait.
My sweetie made Belgium waffles with strawberries and peaches, Yum!!
After enjoying the food and both sessions of conference (can you believe it? 17 new temples!!), we played Blank Slate while we waited for Crafty.
As soon as she showed up, we had chili cheese dogs and corn on the cob from the Farmer's Market. Then my sweetie gave each of the kids a Father's Blessing. It was the perfect ending to a day with 6 of our 12 children. The only thing better would be if they were all here.
