It's that time of year again when it comes to putting up lights for holidays. like Halloween and Christmas. I'm still doing the corn maze like I have been doing for almost every year now. There's some old classic blowups and new ones that have been put up. I also made something that would go along with it. Remember that we used to have a Garbage Can Man in the display. It got broken a long time ago, so I made this one out of the garbage can that we took from my late grandma's house. It was full of wheat that she kept for years and Dad has offered to have the wheat to grind and make homemade wheat bread.
Remember those times I said that I was having trouble on keeping the display up and running on rainy days, because we have a circuit breaker that's been installed but prone to water? Well, this year and last year, I made some improvement on how that couldn't happen again on rainy days. I used plastic water jugs to cut open and put the cords inside and duct tape them shut. For two straight rainy days, the display hasn't blown it's circuit. I'm glad it was quite an improvement. Well, enjoy looking at the pictures, and maybe come on Halloween night to see it and explore it while trick-or-treating! Happy Halloween!
Looks great!!
