Last Year of Little League Football

Curly will be starting 8th grade next week and with the new restructuring of the Ute Conference, this will likely be his last year to play football in the youth leagues. He had his first scrimmage game today with the Brighton Bengals.

The boys did a great job! Curly played center the entire time and he even got in a little defense.

After the game was over, we went out to dinner to celebrate his birthday on Thursday and Drama Queen's birthday on Tuesday (technically today). One of her favorite places to eat is Buca di Beppo. The food is good as long as you close your eyes to avoid most of the decor.

The servers brought each of our birthday kids an ice cream and a burning candelabra before singing them a silly birthday song.

We all clapped and then they blew out the candles. My sweetie bought a couple of other desserts for us to share.

This creme' cake was my favorite.

Apparently Curly liked it too...

Maybe even more than me...
