Nixon Strong Tournament

You all know Curly loves baseball, and that means we spend most of our days at the ballpark. This past weekend was no exception. It was the Nixon Strong Tournament and on Thursday morning we were facing three games. Unless our boys won all three, that would likely be it. But our boys are always looking for more games...

So they won both games on Thursday. Curly's first at-bat, first pitch, he smashed a homerun over the left field fence. He hit another homer on Friday.

Coach bought them all icecream after another exceptional win. 

Then is was Saturday and those 3 wins meant more games. They won in extra innings at noon and suddenly they were facing the semi-final at 4:00 in a game we never expected to play.

Sadly, this Gold team that never loses (we are still Silver) put us in a solid 3rd place with a 7-5 win. Just wait until next year.
