Our city does a lot of interesting things to keep people involved and engaged with the community. One of them was new last year and it is called the "Taste of South Jordan."
I typically frequent festivals that are free, so this one is really not my style. They have booths set up from various restaurants where people can trade a coupon purchased from the city booth for a food item. Like the Market Street Grill had their famous clam chowder and a roll for about 3 bucks. It's much cheaper than at the actual establishment, but it would add up quickly for my family and they wouldn't be full off so I would have to feed them at home anyway.
They also have a little stage set up so people can be entertained while they dine under a canopy. Our dance studio was invited to provide some of this entertainment and Crafty was chosen as a soloist. She did a fantastic job and we brought the kids with us so we could all watch her.
But I did make sure I fed them dinner first.
I always like how you find such fun things for your family to do. Maybe I will research more activities when we get off our mission; which is now only a year away. Blessings and hugs!
