This morning I was sitting at my computer doing some paperwork when Curly crawled up and snuggled on the arm of my chair. It's his favorite place to sit and he has fallen asleep there often, but this morning he wasn't that tired. He was just waiting for the clock to tick off 15 more minutes so we could leave for his ballet class.
I happened to have the blog up on the screen and he asked me about the pictures, so I pointed out his silly face from today's post and Baby Doll's serious one. Then he wanted to scroll down and look for more pictures. Since I wasn't really excited about the paperwork I was doing, I used the mouse to hit the scroll down key.

Do I really look like an egg? |
"It looks like an egg!" he suddenly exclaimed. I was half way through the Easter post. "What?" I asked and reversed the scroll to move back up. "That one," he pointed, "Looks like an egg." I looked at the picture of Curly and Sport sitting at the top of the stairs waiting for the "go" signal so they could run down and discover their Easter goodies.
I was baffled. "How does Sport look like an Easter egg?" He was just sitting there waiting.
He looked at me innocently, then pointed his index finger at the screen,
"Not Sport. You!"
I guess it's time to go on a diet.
Oh, no! :(
ReplyDeleteBefore I saw Shell's comment, that's the first thing I thought, "Oh no!" Kids!! (You don't look like an egg!)
